The Mind Gym
The Mind Gym explores the idea that many people are simply acting on autopilot most of the time, following mental habits and practices as a matter of routine rather than because they are actually effective. The book suggests ways of breaking these habitual patterns of acting and thinking and learning to act in more fulfilling, creative and positive ways. As if to exemplify its own suggestions about doing things in ways which may not be habitual, the book itself is structured in a way which encourages the reader to think about how best they can use it for your own benefit - for example, you might focus on one section that applies to you, such as the section on taking control or the section on creating the right impression OR you can use the book to follow one of four different programmes by selecting highlighted parts of the book. The four different Mind Gym programmes are:
- Get what you want
- Be liked
- Be respected
- Ride the storm
